Horizontal Marine Boiler. \u003cspan\u003eJohn Tinsley Ltd was an engineering and mining firm which appears to have records dating back to at least 1908.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAccording to the plans, this Blackstaff boiler was drawn up in 1987 by a 'F.A.M.' and is at 3\/4 F.S (full size). At its current stage, it is only partially built but upon completion would be the perfect accompanying boiler for a marine engine (see the RELIABLE Engine Co. Marine Engine also listed for sale). A number of plan sheets are included although it is not clear if they are complete. It is possible that this was a bespoke project and that no others are in existence.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSubstantial work is still required to complete the boiler and would require a number of parts fabricating \/ machining.
