Antique wooden graphoscope, a classic 19th-century photographic viewing device used to magnify and view CDV, cabinet cards and early photographs. This example features a large convex glass lens mounted in a hinged wooden panel, with a built-in photograph holder on the base. Includes one CDV card. The locking mechanism part of brass clasp has sadly broke off but the viewer does still close and open as it should. Any questions feel free to ask.
