A Scottish, circa. 1890, fine brass and mahogany magic lantern with plaque for 'J. Lizars, Manufacturing Optician', French polished mahogany body with all lacquered brass parts, red leather bellows, screw focus, body with double doors, tinplate liner, condenser lens, original tin-plate chimney, brass bound lens with rack and pinion focus. With original slide carrier and comes with original case. Lantern measures 68cm when extended.
