A lovely Regner ‘Chaloner’ Model Locomotive. A vertical boiler 0-4-0 inspired by DeWinton locomotives of the late nineteenth century, Chaloner is a powerful two cylinder gear driven engine with no flywheel, and a water top up valve fitted to the water level gauge. Chaloner is now fitted with a new 6mm diameter glass, easier to read water level gauge. It has a lever regulator and a reversing lever, displacement lubricator and pressure gauge. Exhaust steam is taken from the cylinders to a condensate tank. The wheels are insulated and gauge adjustable. Black with silver boiler bands and red lining.
The buffer couplings are designed to be compatible with LGB and Piko rolling stock hook and loops.
This particular model appears to have seen very light use but remains in excellent condition with no damage or use-wear. Comes with original box, certification and instructions.
