An original magic lantern projector with glass topped burner and slides in box. Bears similarity to Plank projectors however this one has been marketed and sold by Merkelbach & Co. of Amsterdam. The box label quotes “dissolving views”. A nice projector which has some age related wear to paintwork and occasional scratching but generally well-kept with all of the pieces intact.
