A late twentieth-century scratch-built live steam table engine. Bears some similarity to the Stuart James Coombes Table Engine but this is more likely an amateur engineer build drawing inspiration from a full-size table engine. A small badge plate on the side of the model shows that this model was displayed at the Midlands Model Engineering & Hobbies Exhibition in 1982. The model turns over freely but has not been steam tested. It will likely require some servicing and tinkering prior to being a working, display model once again. Fitted with lubricator however it is missing its lid. Please see photos to better judge condition for yourself. Some general age-related wear to paint and metalwork.
